The Ramadan Night Market came about from City Planner, Dianalys Bonilla, at the Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED) in partnership with CEO of DSSD, Lauren Coakley Vincent, at the Downtown Special Services District (DSSD).

What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is a holy month in Islam when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, focus on prayer, and spend time reflecting and giving to others. It’s a time for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and community.
